Jack and Warren spend several days analyzing the information collected thus far on the killer's methods, body drops, witness testimony, and forensic material collected(precious little unfortunately.) They devise a surveillance plan, covering the area Warren believes the two women may be living, his ghosts, Jack's love and her sister. For the time being, Jack has limited what he shares about himself and the people they are searching for; Warren is polluted enough and knowing all the details will not help them find Norman or the women any faster. Besides, Warren may find he can't accept all the truth behind these and previous events caused by universal travelers, like myself. Time ripping causes many problems and pre-knowledge can greatly disturb the balance of future history. Once the facts are exposed, they can never be totally covered and forgotten by those who discovered them.
Jack prays his adversary will get complacent, as he grows more bored with the game, making a mistake or careless in his habits, allowing an opportunity to trip him up or stop him cold. Norman is a brilliant and devious man, but with little patience when he is no longer enjoying a current sadistical pleasure. This plan Jack and Warren are now ready to deploy, it's a great risk and even more damage could be triggered if Jack pushes too far.
Dawning a new disguise, drunken street tramp, Jack sets out to make himself at home and even manages to fool Warren, who is dressed as a bobby on the beat. Even the law must be maintained in all the disorder; especially if their plan works and they find Grace and Stella. Time is on no ones side now.
